With the spring and detent in place, we can now lock them securely into the plunger housing. Gently slide the PPT fixture away from the DPT, maintaining a controlled pace and remove DPT. As you do so, you will feel the detent and spring becoming firmly held within the plunger housing.

Step 3: Rotate the PPT Fixture
Now, it’s time to execute a simple 90-degree rotation of the PPT fixture. This step ensures that the detent separates from the groove within the Pivot Pin Tool, preparing it for the insertion process.

Step 4: Insert and Secure the Pivot Pin
With the preliminary steps complete, we can finally insert the pivot pin into its rightful place. Orient the pivot pin with the notch pointing towards the lower receiver or the trigger. Gently press the pivot pin against the PPT fixture until you feel it lock securely into position. Continue pushing until the pivot pin passes through completely.
